2018 → 2026

Our Journey

WINR started in 2018 as an attempt to run a casino entirely onchain. Eight years and more than $250M in processed volume later, it has become something different: a platform where games are created with AI, owned by the people who make them, and played inside a single token economy, live today on JustBet.

This page covers how we got here and where the platform is going.

History

  1. 2018–2021

    The First Experiments

The original idea was to build a casino where the games, the odds and the payouts all lived in smart contracts, so players never had to trust an operator with their money or their math.

The first versions launched on Tron and later on Polygon, and they worked. But they also ran into every limitation of the blockchains of that era. Transactions were slow, fees were unpredictable, reliable onchain randomness barely existed, and parts of the bankroll still depended on centralized systems. The concept was proven, but the experience wasn't good enough to compete with traditional casinos, and the underlying technology couldn't fix that on its own.

The conclusion from those years shaped everything that followed: before we could build the casino we wanted, we had to build the engine underneath it ourselves.

  2. 2022

    Building the Engine

WINR Protocol was established as that engine. Core contracts moved to Arbitrum, which brought settlement times and transaction costs down to levels where real gameplay became practical. The first decentralized bankroll went live the same year, with liquidity providers acting as the counterparty to gameplay and earning from actual house edge rather than token emissions.

That bankroll design is still the economic core of the platform today. Every game, every payout and every revenue distribution since then has settled against it.

  3. 2023–2024

    Real Users, Real Volume

With the engine in place, the question became whether people would actually use it. JustBet launched as a fully onchain real money platform with no custodial balances, and the public token sale on Camelot raised $2.8M. The bankroll grew to several million dollars, casino games settled directly against protocol liquidity, and a leveraged trading product ran on the same bankroll, showing that one liquidity engine could support very different products. Smart wallets removed gas fees and wallet friction from gameplay entirely.

2024 pushed further. Fully onchain blackjack and poker went live, followed by the first fully onchain slot game.

  4. 2025

    Scaling the Platform

2025 was about turning a working protocol into a mature product. The bankroll was redesigned with tighter risk management and predictable revenue distribution. Cross-chain deposits were routed into a single liquidity engine. The backend was rebuilt for speed and accurate real-time statistics, and the overall experience was brought close to what players expect from established online casinos, while remaining fully onchain.

The most consequential work of the year was internal. We built an AI pipeline for creating casino games and used it ourselves, launching original games at a pace that would take a traditional studio months per title. It started as a production tool for our own team. It became the basis for the entire next phase of the company.

By the end of 2025, WINR-powered applications had processed more than $250M in wagering volume across 40,000+ unique wallets.

  5. 2026

    JustBet, the AI Casino

This year the AI pipeline became a product, and JustBet became the AI casino. The Creator Studio lets anyone design and publish a real money slot game without writing code, and Game Shares give creators and their communities onchain ownership of the games they build, with a share of the revenue those games generate.

Alongside the creator platform, 2026 consolidated the whole ecosystem around WINR itself. It became the sole currency for deposits, gameplay, creation, rewards and ownership. The bankroll now distributes revenue weekly, Packs and Cards added progression and collection mechanics, creator campaigns let the community run its own competitions, and multi-network deposits convert automatically into WINR.

The result is JustBet: a casino where the catalog grows because the community builds it, and where the people building it get paid from what they build.

  6. 2027+

    2027 and Beyond

The next phase is about depth rather than breadth. More capable AI creation tools, so generated games keep closing the gap with studio-built titles. Game APIs, so anyone can build new experiences on top of the platform. Tradable game assets and game tokens, so ownership extends beyond shares into the games themselves. Creator profiles, communities and cross-platform discovery, so the best creators can build real audiences and real businesses.

The pattern behind all of it is the same one that has driven the platform since 2022: each new game brings players, each new creator brings games, and all of it runs through one economy.

Where This Goes

Game creation has always been expensive. A single slot title takes a studio months of design, math, art and certification work, which is why the industry is dominated by a small number of providers selling the same catalogs to every casino. AI removes that constraint. When a game can be designed, generated and published in minutes, the interesting question is no longer who can afford to build games. It's who owns them, and who earns from them.

Our answer is the players and creators themselves. On WINR, anyone can create a game, publish it to a real money audience immediately, and hold onchain ownership in what they've built. Revenue flows back to the people responsible for it, and the token that powers gameplay is the same one that powers creation, rewards and ownership.

We are not trying to build the world's biggest casino. We're building JustBet, the first casino where the community owns the games, and where the catalog is limited by imagination rather than development budgets. Everything on this page, from the 2018 experiments to the current roadmap, has been in service of that.
